I figured after only 6 months of dating, it was time for Austin to meet the rest of my family down in Florida-- including my big brother! On this trip, Austin gained the nickname "Tank" from Jason, which still radiates to this day. He was able to meet Aunt Debbie, Uncle Kevin, Michael, Pop and Pam. Austin and Jason clicked right away. They played golf together and drank some crazy South American alcohol from Jason's neighbor. Austin was hungover the next morning which was Thanksgiving, and they were going to play golf. Jason was able to secure Uncle Kevin's clubs for Austin to play. He thought he lost one of the clubs, which happened to be Uncle Kevin's favorite and newest to his collection. What a way to meet the family! Luckily enough, there was just an extra club cover and the club was in the bag all along! We had an awesome Thanksgiving at Aunt Debbies house in Lake Worth. Austin instantly won all of their hearts. We helped Jason and Melissa find a Christmas tree for their first apartment together. It was so bizarre Christmas tree shopping in warm weather! Quick visit but so worth the memories.
