The first real longer geo trip, which was a challenge due to the few caches scattered over a large area, traveled down to Southern Russia
GC23Q4W - Sheekhan. Tra-Tau (Russia), Bashkortostan (current Find farthest East)
well arrived we drove 105 km to the foot of the mountain and then climbing to 402 meter over sea-level in 36 degree heat this was one of the times you wondered what you got into.

In my old hometown Linköping Östergötland I find a very interesting cache.
This place i was wondering how can this be possible
Almost like a treasure hiding "the treasure lies at X" Picture above on left.
Cache name:X marks the spot (This cache has been archived
since 2012)
The description says: If your GPS shows decimal degrees, just go to 58.4000° N and 15.6000° E. If you use degrees and minutes, that is 58° 24' 00'' N and 15° 36' 00'' E.
See also the website www.confluence.org where people visit integral degree confluences or crossings of latitudes and longitudes. But this cache is at a decimal degree confluence.
The picture to the right shows Sweden's first illegal pub, where sailors and harbor workers etc. come to get drunk.
a little spooky to begin with, I found Google maps marking on the map and in the real at the spot, but myself got stuck on Google's image a bit away when I logged a cache!
In 2013, we went on vacation to Tenerife and of course went out and searched for caches, the challenge challenging in many places lots of mugglers that you had to keep an eye on, warm and nice surroundings for the rest.Got a new flag in the collection and some caches this seems to be currently "Find Farthest South" cache COME BACK SOON TO TENERIFE (Islas Canarias, Spain).
Wondered several times why it was swarmed by mugglers both civilians and those in blue and white, around the corner it was discovered that it was a major bike competition in the city, of course with my luck, the city was overcrowded in a few hours.
