We flew from Cairo to Istanbul via Egypt Air. After a layover in Istanbul that was short enough to only walk from one gate to another (with a stop at Duty Free) we caught our last flight home to Toronto on Turkish Airlines.

The flight was uneventful, and even though we arrived back in Toronto at 6:00 PM (or midnight our time) we weren’t really tired.

While we arrived back safe and sound, our luggage is still flying back. It should arrive sometime in the next 2 days. Glad that happened on the way home and not the way there.

It is a bit of a blessing in disguise as we can catch up on other things before having to tackle unpacking and laundry.

While we enjoy travelling, there is nothing like getting home and sleeping in your own bed.

After 16 days of sunny skies and warm days, we woke to rain and cool temperatures! But lots of green! Gotta love Ontario!
