As we start to enter the home stretch of our trip, we head into uncharted territory for us, the outer edges of County Donegal. But, not before a glorious Bailey's-laced oatmeal burst of heavenly goodness.

views, just more slowly didn't exactly ring any bells for us...not to mention we would have had to wait for an hour to ride. So, we decided to get some extra coastal roads in.

We had great weather most of the day, so we had some spectacular views with amazing colors, both at sea and land. Pat was able to score some shells for one of her many upcoming projects. I was sent out to document the finding of the shells, but every time I went to take a picture, she turned her back to me to bend over. I had been told that posterior photographs would not be appreciated, so I ran over to get a side-view. Only to be again thwarted by the threatening rump. I gave up, and Carrie obliged to get a few pictures.

Carrie continued her sheep obsession, though today, her grail was a black sheep that would look at her. This quest will have to wait until tomorrow.

We found our B&B, though we were too early, so we continued along the coast to take another road loop. This time we went along some very steep and high cliffs. Carrie, sitting in the shotgun seat, was looking out her window at certain death, and the tone of her voice...well, her actual words, desperately demanded that I stay to the right side of the (barely bigger than a driveway) road.

We survived the trip, and got some great pictures (though we had lost some of the good weather, and we could have seen much farther from that vantage point with fewer clouds - oh well, it's Ireland).

It was time where we could check in to the B&B, and our gracious host had tea and homemade scones ready for us (with homemade jams as well - SCORE!). It was so nice to relax with a cup of hot tea and a tasty treat. After resting a while, we went into town to get dinner. We got a confirmation from our host that our planned restaurant was a good one.

Boy, were they right! We had probably the best meal of our trip here - right up there with both Bantry restaurants. For dessert, we had a new one to us - Eton Mess. We all decided that this would be Emma's new project, as she does meringue very well.

Back at the B&B, we did the usual pics and journaling. We have a late start in the morning, so we get to sleep in. I need it - today was a lot of driving, and I am ready to relax.
