Today we did a lot of driving. After breakfast, we headed out to complete more of the Wild Atlantic Way?. We will have driven probably 80-90% of it when we are done. We kept along the coastal roads as much as we could.

We stopped off and explored a beach, since it was so warm and sunny. And, no, I did not have my sarcasm font enabled. Pat found some nice shells, and we all got some great pictures. It was nice not being in the car for a while, and it was really warm.

We continued on, and drove up to a lighthouse that guarded the

entrance to a lough that housed the allied atlantic fleet in WWI. Right now, the lighthouse is closed to the public, but we got some pictures of the outside.

Continuing on, we saw some gorgeous beaches, with some amazing blue and green water. There were also some high cliff-roads that took a few years off of Carrie's life.

By this time, there were tummy rumblings in the back seat, so we found a stop for Les to get a sandwich, and the rest of us to use the facilities. Carrie did find some unique Irish sweets to bring back to the kids. Whether they make it home, is another issue.

Since everything is so relatively close to each other, we went to an amazing ring fort - An Grianan Ailigh. Since the weather was nice, the 360 degree views from there were A Mazing.

Afterwards, we went back to have dinner in Dunfanaghy at Arnolds Hotel. It was really good, probably one of our better meals. Back at the B&B, Carrie and I went for a walk. We were next to a waterfall, so we walked up the creek to see it. Then we walked 2km down to the beach. It was gorgeous. And, so was Carrie :) I got some great seabreeze pictures of her, with the sun slowly setting over the ocean. By the time we got back (in addition to conversing with sheep and cows), it was just starting to be dusk. It was a full day, and I have earned my sleep tonight.
