Thanks for checking out my page this is my travel journal I will be updating it frequently as I move through my journey over the next four years. So, the next logical question is what is my journey look like at the outset. I am part of a program called the University of Delaware World Scholars Program. The World Scholars is a program at the University of Delaware that was created to ensure that students were not just developing in the classroom but in their ability to communicate cross-culturally and understand other world citizens. To accomplish this goal the other students and I will study abroad starting as a freshman and go abroad again as juniors to hopefully intern in another country. My journey starts with me studying at St.Louis University in Madrid Spain.

Today we arrived in Spain. We arrived at Barajas International Airport, we got there and I was so scared, so afraid; so intoxicated by the idea that I am going to be studying here for a whole semester. This is the first picture of the world scholars group in Madrid. I was so excited to see where we were going to live. I got to take a tour of the city and campus today very excited for this opportunity. The second picture is a few of the other students in my program, and the gentleman holding the sign in the middle is our programs, RA Matt.
