Taking It Easy in Tallinn

Tallinn, 07.21.2017

Yesterday was a day of not really going our way! Weather was cool and windy so we decided to go check out a castle and a museum. Had originally thought we should go out to a national park but it was very difficult to get there and back. We waited until the middle of the day when the weather was getting better and headed out to a park on the east side of the city. Thought we would walk a lot of it and see some things on the way. Didn't see much on the way and when we finally got to our destination it was all closed for upgrading until October. We found an old run down obelisk with some monuments

and memorial stones. Looked them up later and realized they were old soviet monuments. They were in bad shape. Looks like the Estonians didn't want to spend money on the Russians after they left. Not a big surprise. Had a boar burger for supper and returned home without accomplishing much. Oh well!!!
Today was a nicer weather day so off to the beach and a day of laying around doing nothing. Turned out to be a good day. Got Katelyn a little color and me a little burn. Think we will do that again tomorrow. Nice to do nothing for a few days!
