Vienna the Good, the Bad, and the Lucky....

Vienna, 06.21.2017

Yesterday we travelled from Budapest to Vienna. Not a long trip. Kind of a casual trip by train. Very relaxing day. Everything went according to plan and we arrived at our AirBnb shortly after arriving in Vienna. Was very hot in Vienna so we decided to stay inside and do some long over due laundry. Had a casual supper and an early night.
Got up around 7:30 to hit the sites in Vienna. We were struggling today finding train stops so we decided to go to the main train station and book a day trip to Salzburg as well as our train to Prague on the 24th. Train station was very busy so we had to wait but we got all we needed done. Hopped on the Metro to the city centre and into the midst of Vienna history. Every street and block had something on it. It was really too much to take in. We wandered for a while in amazement and a little confusion as half the time we didn't know what we were looking at. Finally we decided to go see some Picasso and Monet paintings at the Albertina Museum. Very interesting but not really my thing. Left the museum kinda tired and wore out. Sat on some steps to plan our next move. Decided to go to their famous market, so we headed out and got 2 blocks away when Katelyn realized she had left her camera on the step. We ran back to find it gone. Went to the lost and found and left an e mail address hoping for a miracle. We then went to the market a little glum and depressed. Ending stopping for a beer to console our loss. Headed back to the room and were there about 10 minutes when Katelyn got an e mail saying they found her camera. We hopped on a train and went back to get it. It was her camera and we stopped for an ice

cream on the way back. We are now sitting in the room having a celebration beer for Katelyn's luck. What will tomorrow bring in Salzburg? Perhaps we will hear the sound of music.......
