Day 76: Salvatore!!!!

Melbourne, 10.26.2019

I was up at 4am to get ready for my 5am shuttle bus to the airport. I flew to Melbourne at 7am and had landed by 8:30. On collecting my backpack from the baggage claim I suddenly got super nervous. I could feel loads of butterflies in my stomach and just hoped that we would get on just as much as we did in Thailand. I felt bad that Salvatore had got up so early on his Saturday to come and pick me up from the airport. He'd been waiting for me outside the airport for a while so I tried my best to get out as fast as possible. At first I couldn't find him which was funny, it took a few phone calls for me to navigate my way to where he was parked. I eventually found him, and as I walked towards him, all my nerves suddenly went away and once his arms where around me I knew I could just relax. He looked as gorgeous as I remembered and instantly made me feel comfortable in his presence. I couldn't believe after all this time speaking, I was now finally in Melbourne, in the passenger seat of Sam's white truck on the way to his home. After an hour or so, we arrived at his home in Beaconsfield where he made me feel so welcome. After some sexy time, which was bound to happen after 9 weeks apart we headed out into Berwick for some lunch. Both of us were so hungry having got up so early and not really eaten much since. Sam picked a cute little Italian place which he had never tried before. We shared some bruschetta for starter and I had a really good Caesar Salad to follow. Later on we went on our first cinema date together at Fountain Gate, Sam's local Westfield shopping centre. We watched Joker, a film that I thought I probably wouldn't enjoy however it was really really good! Afterwards, we tried a restaurant just outside the shopping centre. Here I introduced Salvatore to Aperol Spritz, which surprisingly he really liked! We watched some fireworks that were happening outside on the way back to the car and then headed home to cosy up on the sofa to watch Bohemian Rhapsody.

A Trip of a Lifetime!
