Day 38: Treat yourself night

Headed to the gym first thing with Eve and then had a later breakfast. We went to the supermarket afterwards and got absolutely drenched from yet another rain storm! The group set off on a tour of the city. This included seeing the presidents former building, the notre dam, the post office and a trip to McDonald’s! How cultural! The last part of our city tour was the War Remnants museum which was really interesting albeit very bias in terms of the Vietnamese opinions of the United States! In the afternoon we arrived at the airport and took a flight 1 hour north to Nha Trang. We arrived at our Vieng Dong hotel and then headed off on a night out to the Sailing Club. This was a ‘treat yourself’ night, beautiful food and cocktails followed by a fire show on the beach and then dancing! Walked home at the end of the night with Eve, Rhys and Josh via a takeaway shop where Eve got spring rolls and Josh got squid, how random!
