Day 56: Uncle Brian's!

Today I was up early to go on a tour of the rain forest! The Uncle Brian’s tour bus collected me at 7:20. The tour guide was a typical Aussie man, long hair and a beard and wearing a safari hat! His name was Eli and he was a great tour guide, so funny and full of energy! We took a two hour drive out to the Daintree Rainforest!
First we went on a crocodile river cruise, we saw so many, around 6 and some were almost 5 metres long! So scary! Next we headed to cape tribulation where we had some lunch and also visited the beach where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. It was such a beautiful beach!
Next up on the itinerary was a swim in a water hole. I chose not to go in however a few people went in and enjoyed swinging on a rope and jumping off into the water! We headed on a rainforest walk in the afternoon to explore the nature and wildlife, we saw a red belly snake which I chose to not get too close to! We had a long drive back to Cairns but on the way back we stopped at a few view points which included port Douglas for sunset which was beautiful!
I was really naughty and had another dominos when I got back to Cairns! It had been a very long day and I just wanted the easy option!! FaceTimed Salvatore to catch up with him. Only a few weeks until I see him now which is very exciting! Ironed all my fresh washing while watching dirty dancing!
