East Coast USA & Caribbean Cruise

Our journey down to Key West was very scenic. We stopped at a restaurant along the way where we got our first taste of the area's famous key lime pie which was delicious and probably the best one we had. Stunning views to look at as we had lunch a cocktail and a beer.
We also stopped for a quick look at a resort on the beach with palm trees and chairs sitting around the ocean. Really beautiful views and a place you could definitely stay at and relax.
The road down cut straight through the ocean so you had water on both sides of you, a huge causeway, amazing.
Once we got to our location our accommodation was great, we stayed at a hostel for adults NHYH. It had 3 pools, we stayed in a 6 bed dormitory, balcony's everywhere, great views and we had a swim in 1 of the pools. Key West is famous for its sunsets so in the late afternoon we walked into town. Nice little town, a retirees paradise, with entertainment from many varied shows, we watched the cat man with his cats, he was definitely a bit different. There were a lot of people around jostling for a good position on the pier. The sunset was nice and then we headed into the main part of town for dinner. We only had 1 night, Steve and Clarina had 2 which gave them more time to properly look around the place. Would love to come back and spend more time.
