East Coast USA & Caribbean Cruise

In Orlando on our way to New Orleans we went to our first Walmart Store and bought a GPS, we stayed overnight in a town called Destin. We arrived New Orleans the next afternoon and all I can say is "Boom Boom Boom " OMG how great was Bourbon St New Orleans. We had 2 nights here and our first night was the best ever. We started out at a small bar where we had our first cocktail, which was called a Hand Grenade, came in a green glass which we then used all night. There was music in every bar where we got to do a lot of dancing. Clarina's friend Darcy joined us who lives in the US and knew her way around. Darcy ended up buying us the New Orleans famous crawfish for dinner. After dinner we continued on to the next bar where the guys decided to have a go at "Bull" riding. The waitresses came around with shooters you drank tipped up served from their mouths into yours in a test tube. All the guys came off the bulls, but it was very funny to watch. We continued on into the early hours collected bead necklaces along the way in many varied colours. Next day we went to breakfast and came across a very colourful street parade. Then on into town where we went to the French Market and did a little shopping. After that we took the tram out to Lafayette Cemetery got a guide who worked for tips to show us around. This evening we started at a roof top bar then went walking to find the street where the more traditional jazz is played, didn't find what we expected, maybe a bit to early. Walked back to Bourbon St picked up a couple of souvenir's had a drink and called it a night. There's no way we could have improved on the previous awesome night anyway.
