Glacier Bay fun facts:
Size: 3,283,000 acres. 5,130 sq miles.
Established Date as a National Park: February 26 1925.
Pre History: It has been the homeland of the Huna Tlingit people for generations.
Coastline of Glacier Bay, including all the islands: 760 statute miles.
Number of glaciers in the park: 1,045 (50 named glaciers).
Deepest point: 1,410 feet below sea level.

Today was a perfect day. It just doesn't get any better that this weather wise. We focussed on two Glaciers today, the Margery Glacier and the Grand Pacific Glacier. Also seeing the John Hopkins Glacier at a distances because a colony of seals is breeding at the moment so did want to disturb them. Saw the Reid Glacier and the Lamplugh Glacier as well. A breathtaking day.

As we sailed out in dead calm water you could see the lines of current which brought in the plankton and krill. enticing the whales.
