We caught the shuttle into town and went to the Alaska Sealife Centre. Seward can be described as a quaint little town. We walked around the streets visiting different shops and found the fire Station. As we were looking through the windows, the guys saw us and opened the doors inviting us in to look. Chatted to them for 15 minutes or so and took pictures. We then wandered back to a shuttle stop and caught the shuttle back to the ship, where we had lunch and went back to the shops on the wharf.
On 27 March 1964 Seward had a major earthquake and Tsunami which wiped out 150 feet of coastline in places, destroying the wharfs,
