South East Asia Adventures!!
Day 109 ... Mr Sany took us form our hotel to the Giant Ibis bus depot by tuktuk and we had a 6 hour journey on the bus. It went fairly quickly with 3 short stops along the way. We arrived at our hotel, checked in and then went to find a place for dinner.
Day 110 ... Our tuktuk driver who dropped us off at hotel yesterday, picked us up this morning at 9.30am to go to the Genocide Centre, also known as the killing fields and the S21 prison. It was quick a long drive, just over half an hour to the killing fields. Once we got there, we got an audio tour of the mass graves and the monument built in remembrance of the 3 million people murdered by their own. It was quite harrowing to learn about. We then went to the S21 prison which showed where the prisoners were held and tortured. The photos were so sad to look at but I'm glad we went to learn more about the country we're visiting.
