My diary

We did get food last night. The restaurant is not that impressive but they do try hard.

There was an amazing storm this morning. The rain was intense and the thunder was constant and it seemed right over Campotinto. The eating area has glass walls on two sides so it was fun to watch the storm.

After the rain subsided, we rode the bikes to a nearby winery and had a wonderful afternoon. They had Syrah, Tannat and a Syrah/Tannat blend.

Jessie rode with a flat tire on wet dirt roads so quite a work out!

We all spent the afternoon by the pool.

We went to a restaurant called Fango. We thought it was in Carmelo but it was quite literally in the bush. Dinner was fantastic. Hard to believe that we all had wine, cocktails and full dinners and the bill was $110.
