Day Two - Estancia Sofia

Woke up on day two to the sounds of birds chirping. They are actually quite loud, There are lots of hawks, parrots and other birds here. We have been trying to get a picture of the parrots but they are so fast it has been difficult They are almost a lime green and blend in very well with the trees.

It is very warm but luckily there is a good breeze that comes up. The mosquitoes are pretty bad so need lots of spray.

Just saw the young man who cooked lunch and dinner yesterday.

Turns out he is also the bartender and the pool guy. Very hard working. Marcos has arranged a polo match with the neighbours for this afternoon so will update then.

Cory, Chris, Jessie and Katie went for a ride this morning. Sarah got on the horse and then realized she didn't have sunblock on so didn't go and went for a swim instead.

We had a great time watching the polo match. It is something else when the good riders really went hard after the ball. The speed was incredible to watch and we never realized how physical the game was with all of the pushing and leaning in to the other horses.
