Los Bukis have finally arrived to San Antonio after travelling from Tombstone Arizona for 844 miles, which took us about 13 hours to get there. We spent about 143 dollars in gas and we stopped in a Mexican restaurant to eat . We stayed one night in the Best Western Ingram Park Inn hotel which costs us only 59 dollars. n December 1835, during Texas’ war for independence from Mexico, a group of Texan volunteer soldiers occupied the Alamo, a former Franciscan mission. The Alamo was a fight between Mexicans and Americans fighting to get their land back. General George Collinsworth and Benjamin Milam lead a group of Texans. Later on Colonel James Bowie took over the texans forces. Antonio de Santa Anna led the Mexicans in the fight for the alamo. On April 21, 1836 the Texans defeated Santa Anna's force of men.
