Diary Entry 5,
Today is the last day in Australia and I am happy to go back home as I miss my family and friends but sad to leave as we made Australia a cultural diverse society by introducing new stories, traditions and perspectives to Australian culture and was important in developing a new, modern Australia. This did not only affect Brisbane but affected the whole of Australia. Peoples social lives were mostly affected in ways of transport, thinking and health. Although at times we did not get along with the people in Australia which resulted in fights and brawls we helped the Australians serve their country, helping keep Australia's pride; as the Americans not only had impact on the society but helping the military succeed in the war. I believe that the affects will impact Australia for future generations and us Americans have made our mark in Australia.
