My diary

So we finally arrived to St.Louis after driving a total of 283 miles. We stopped at Conoco gas station and wasted $60 worth of gas to refill the vehicle's tank. After refueling we went to go get a room at a motel 6 because it was getting dark, the room cost $44 a night and it included free parking,Wifi, and free coffee in the morning. So we paid the $44 for the night because it was the cheapest place to stay. So the next day we woke up at around 7 am got ready and headed to the Gateway Arch which is the tallest arch in the world and is 630 feet tall. Once we got to the Jefferson National expansion museum we had to pay the $5 entrance fee to park there and we also paid the $10 to ride the tram to get to the top of the arch. The ride on the tram was pretty scary for Luis because he is scared of heights it was pretty funny seeing him act like a chicken until we finally arrived to the top of the arch. Once we arrived everyone was celebrating the 50th anniversary since the arch was built. The arch started to be built 1963 and was completed 1965 for 16 million dollars. So today we wasted a total of $119. We are now heading to our next destination.
