We are going to the Grand canyon after our adventures in Denver. The distance was 656.7 miles away and the drive was about 10 hours and 30 minutes. On this trip we spent $65.67 on gas. While we were at the grand canyon hiking it we looked up some interesting facts on it and we found out that the Grand Canyon is around 6000 feet deep, that the Grand Canyon became a national park in 1919, and lastly it was the 17th national park to be established in the United States. We hiked about 7 miles and back another 7. We are going to stay at The White Eagle Inn & Family Lodge $49 to stay the night, but first we check out the four corners. We get there and I find out that it consist of the southwestern corner of Colorado, southeastern corner of Utah, northeastern corner of Arizona, and northwestern corner of New Mexico. After we check that out quickly we go back to the Hotel and plan our next trip. We decided that our next trip was to go to Borrego Springs. We decided to go back because we needed to go back home.
