I started the day off taking the metro into the city looking for a small apartment style building in search for an art exhibit that is free to the public to see. When walking in there is a large spiral staircase and art lines the walls and I'm not talking about paintings in frames, I'm talking about drawings on the walls and paintings on the walls. There was a dragon that was painted with its tail at the bottom of the staircase and the body wraps around the staircase just as the staircase winded through the building. The artist were inside the buildings talking to us about their paintings and where their inspirations came from and were very entertaining. They were interested in our questions and the things that we were studying in school ourselves. The paintings in the building were marvelous and looked like ones that could be showcased in museums and art shows in which some of the artists actually have that honor of being in art shows and what not. It was definitely cool to see one day the paintings of old such as the Mona Lisa and other we say in the Louvre and other museums and then the paintings that these artists made themselves and even some that they tried to replicate certain paintings in their own light and it was interesting.
