Finally the road to Broome is open, its bloody wet though, floodways are a couple of inches deep in water but I got to Broome.
Now the only problem is I cant get past Roebuck Plains to head to Port Hedland.
The road is open but I cant drive thru the water 5km out of Roebuck, I walked it, everyone was there admiring the water, playing in it, fishing, catching massive tadpoles. So I walked thru the water along the road, its gotta be half a kilometre long and in places its 6 inches deep! I measured the car, at 5 inches it comes in the doors!
Drove into Broome for lunch, had subway, wasted some time, went

Derby - Broome

Finally the road to Broome is open, its bloody wet though, floodways are a couple of inches deep in water but I got to Broome.

back to Roebuck and checked out the water, seemed a little lower, maybe tomorrow.
So I headed to a 24hr rest area 100km from Broome and slept in the car for the night.
