Tims Trip Around Australia

RUNDOWN:
20 days on the road.
17975 kms travelled.
$3047.15 spent on fuel. that works out to $1 for every 6km.
$387 spent on accomodation.

NOTES:
Visited all states except Tassie.
WA was a bit of a blowout (cyclone, get it?!) and I will have to head over that way again soon, theres a bunch of landmarks on the Stuart Hwy that are worth checking out.. Uluru, Devils Marbles, the underground motel, and more...
Saw most of the landmarks I listed and some extras.
Took a fair few photos - 290.
Got a few videos of driving around in the car. Bathurst track, some pretty scenery.
The state with the best roads would be NT, with a speed limit of 130km/h I guess they have to keep the couple of main roads they have in good condition.
The worst condition road I drove on was today between Dunkeld, Skipton and Geelong.. Potholes and bumps and utter shit surface.
AND yes I enjoyed the heck out of my trip, even if it was cut short!

THE CAR:
The car has suffered a little bit, 2nd last day one of the side skirts decided to come unstuck so I unscrewed the 1 screw holding it on and threw it in the car, the front bumper is held on AND held together by cable ties, one of the driving lights had to have its retaining clip plastic welded, the rear tires have copped an absolute flogging, they are almost slicks! The entire front of the car is covered in bugs and the rest of the car is filthy! I have water in that crank angle sensor plug that needs to be cleaned out. The windsreen and both windows are covered in bug bits. Theres a lot of crap in the cabin that needs to come out. Everything is still in the back of the ute as well and needs to come out.
All in all, not that bad considering, driving thru flood waters, driving thru the night, bumpy roads, animal strikes, getting bogged in mud and sand, cruising at 130km/h for hours on end.
I gave the motor a drink of oil (couple of hundred mills) in Katherine once, never needed any more. All other fluids never even needed a topup. Pretty good effort I recon.

MORE:
There might be more edits coming as I remember stuff I had forgotten to write in here but photos are in now!
