Auz

I stayed at Sophie's, an Australian I had met in Cambodia, for the next few days before catching a lift to Sydney with a guy I met on gumtree. In Sydney, Dan, who TJ had introduced me to, said I could stay with him and his mates in their apartment. It was a lovely place with an outdoor pool, hot tub and bbq area. I stayed there for a week just chilling out, drinking and smoking a lot of weed. We visited Manly one day and on the Friday we went to watch Austrlia v England in the cricket tri nations. It was a crazy day as we started drinking at 9am and went through until 2 am. The match was great fun with everyone singing songs and drinking far too much. On my final Wednesday there we went out for Ethans 21st birthday. We got very drunk and I ended up in the casino with Dan. After an hour in roulette I surprisingly managed to come out even.

Libby, Alex and Jemima also arrived that week and so I went to Manly to spend the day with them. It was great to see them and nice to have

a catch up on the events at home. I had stayed in Sydney for this long as Henry was making his infamous return to our travels. He arrived on the Thursday and it was awesome to have him back. He had finally been diagnosed with salmonella but it was the drugs he was given that had screwed him up. He was better but couldn't drink or eat spicy foods for an indefinite amount of time. Even though he was in high spirits to be back and we caught up on all that we had missed. We booked a train to Byron Bay, watched American Sniper in the cinema and restarted our journey.
