Today we went to Bunny Island. This island used to be a poison gas factory and when it was no longer use they apparently let all the test bunnies go, who as bunnies do, procreated like bunnies do and now the island is full of cute little fluffy bunnies who are really tame and love, love, love food.
We took a train out there and on the way had to change, I popped off to the ladies and when I came out I found BF surrounded by three old Japanese women who were absolutely delighted to be practising their English on him. When I came over they were even more delighted still (who wouldn’t be though) they were adorable and were on their way to go shopping, we spent about 15 minutes talking to them, they wanted to know all about our lives, it was a great example of how nice the Japanese people genuinely are.
Anyway after a couple of trains and a ferry, we arrived on the island and the bunnies came running. The cuteness cannot be described so just look at the pictures. BF and I also took a ride around the island and the bunnies hear you and come out to greet you (i.e. ask for food)
