Weather 26'C

The last few days with David, Vicki and the kids have been glorious. Warm sunshine and clear blue skies have meant that we have enjoyed kayaking and even took a dip in the English channel (mighty cold). Each day has almost been a carbon copy of the previous with more beach activities with the kids, kayaking, beach cricket, swimming and more home made sweets (thanks to the Laws snr), various board games and lots of laughter.

We have really relaxed whilst being here which has been a lovely change from the long days of walking we've been doing. During the afternoon the sun streams in through the front window which looks directly out over the pebbly beach. There are two beautifully placed chairs that catch the sunlight and I spent a good deal of the afternoon reading in one such chair.

Because we've had such a lovely time it was difficult to leave knowing we will probably not catch up with them again for several years. However they move into their new home in October and it has a guest floor so we have promised to come back (with children) to stay.
