Weather 37'C hot hot hot

We did spend Dubai, any time in Dubai, got a taxi straight to Abu Dhabi. the hotel is AMAZING, the service has been incredible. We feel like royalty. even though we got there at 0830 they let us check early its ramadan so I think the hotel is pretty quiet. Slept till about 12 (because I can never sleep on planes). then went for a swim in the glorious pool. Because its Ramadan, muslims break their fast with an iftar after sunset so the streets are deserted during the day, all food outlets are closed and also many shops. But the streets come to life as everyone gathers to share iftar, so restaurants, malls, shops are all open till about 1am. once wed had enough of the pool we got a taxi into town and did a bit of shopping. You are not allowed shorts, sandals or exposed shoulders in the lobby area and your dress really should be modest in all other areas so unfortunately my mid thigh shorts dont allow me in many places in the hotel. New dersses were required. Dinner at the mall and back to the palace
