Today was our free day, we didn't have any especific places to go and we could go by ourselves to wherever we wanted. We started the day by taking breakfast, of course, and then we headed to Notre Dame. We wanted to take a picture in Point Zero, but since the church is closed we couldn't. So we just bought some souvenirs, ate an ice cream and drank a hot chocolate in a café. I felt like a true parisian.
After that, we headed to the subway to go to the Louvre and visit some libraries close to it. We enjoyed the view from the Louvre and then we walked to Smith & Son, a library. It was beautiful, it was full of books that I wanted to buy, but I just took one, because if not I would have bought the entire place. Then we went to eat to a japanese place, we ate ramen, really good too, different from the noodle soup of yesterday and that was the interesting thing, to be able to compare them.
After that pause, we headed to the subway again so we could go to the Panthéon and a library close to it. We went first to the Panthéon and it was beautiful, there are place for, I think, 300 people but there are less than a 100. The most important thinkers, writers, generals are in there and it must be such an honor to be buried in there. Then we visited one more library just for

Paris, France
Then we visited one more library just for
fun and curiosity.
Finishing that, we wanted a boba drink so we looked for a place and decided to go. What we didn't expect, was that place to be at almost the other side of Paris. Memory of today, we made a route of one hour, from the Panthéon to the boba place until la défense in the subway just for that drink. I swear today I saw all kind of subway stations, of subways per se, people, situations, it was really interesting and fun. I decided that I want to live in a place where there is a subway.
At the end, we arrived the hotel early, we drank our boba and I read a book that I brought from home. It was a peaceful evening.
What I learned:
- There are a lot of couples in Paris, a lot.
- There are a lot of turists always in the center of the city.
- In the city, there are more libraries that sell books in english than in French.
- The subway is a weird beautiful place that you just have to embrace.
That is it for today.
