History of art in Paris

Today it was a good day in terms of weather. It was, I think, the hottest day of all, and it was nice because I could use my skirt and a light jacket. In the morning we took our breakfast, and then headed to le musée d'Orsay. This is a museum full of paintings and works of artistic movements like impresionism and realism. We got to hear the story of some paintings, the details, what every thing means. We saw again Claude Monet and his paintings that were all about light and how he perceived it. Van Gogh was there too, it was really nice to see his paintings and it is sad but at the same time nice that at the end he could expose his work. We stayed just for an hour and half because it was very crowded, but in general the museum was beautiful.
Then, the second stop of the day was the Saint Chapelle, but before that we had 1 hr and a half to eat. Here is the memory of today. We didn't eat. My friend left her credit card in the hotel and we wanted to change to lighter clothes for the sunny day, so we went crazy and went back to the hotel in the subway. We didn't have to do this, but we like to complicate things to make

Paris, France

We didn't have to do this, but we like to complicate things to make

them interesting. At the end we bought a boba drink and it was enough for the moment.
We reunited with the group and we waited for a while outside the church because now the police is very careful with who enters and goes out, because in the same place there is the Justice Palace where there is a judgement of the attacks of 2015. It was an interesting fact this one. At the end we could go inside and it was beyond beautiful. The church was full of stained glass made by hand. Everything had a reason and a religious meaning, the same glasses tell the bible, and even the numbers have a meaning. It was somethings that I respected a lot.
After this, we had free time so we went to ate a proper meal: pizza. It is italian too, but in my defense I hadn't eaten pizza. Then we just took the subway and walk through the streets of Paris. I bought a ring and went back to the hotel. And since the teriyaki yesterday was so good, I ate it again.
What I learned:
- It is normal in here to smoke, part of the culture I would say.
- In french it is also said Paracetamol.
- At the end, you end up learning more or less the subway lines by heart.
That is it for today.
