History of art in Paris

Last day, last ride in the subway, last walk in Paris... well, time to tell the story. The day started normal, we ate breakfast at the hotel and we woke up not that early so it was nice. Then we headed to the Atelier de Lumières. This is a place where you enter to a dark room and a lot of lights present an exposition of the works of a certain artist around the room. Today we saw the works of Kandinsky, a painter that decided to simply paint, nothing in mind just paint. And the other was Cézanne a post-impresionist painter. The place was beautiful and we stayed there for almost an hour, then we went to the bus to go to the Opera Garnier.
Before that, we went to look for a place to eat. We now ate sushi and we bought moshis in an asian store, I didn't like them, but at least I tried them. At 3:30 p.m. we enter to the Opera, and it was very impressive. This is basically a theater that was kind of the only entertainment back in the day. It was prestigious and people there enjoyed the show and socialized too. I learned that in France , in theater, they use the expression "beaucoup de merde" because having a lot of poop back in the day meant a lot of horses, that meant a lot of people going, so now they use that expression.
After watching the beautiful theater, we went back to the Louvre for some

macarons for our friends in Mexico, some souvenirs, and photos. At the end of the day we decided to take dinner in a café, and I decided that I couldn't leave France without eating duck, since it is part of the french gastronomy, so I did, and it was tasty. This was definetely the memory of the day.
We wen back to the hotel in our last ride in the wonderful métro, organize our luggage for tomorrow and that was it.
What I learned:
- Driving in France can be chaotic.
- Everything closes early.
- I will miss this city.
That is everything for today and for this trip.
