Today we went to visit two castles that were outside Paris, so we had to get up earlier than normal. We got out the hotel at 07:40 a.m. and we started the trip to the first castle: the castle of Chenonceau, the ladies castle. The weather was really not our friend today, it was rainy and really cold, but that didn't slow us down. In this castle we visited the rooms, kitchen, common room, etc. I couldn't help to think how would those rooms be in action. I would like to visit those years just to see how it was. Also, I learned a lot about kings, queens, lovers and a lot of royal gossip, it was really cool. I am just going to say: Henri II had mommy issues. Between Catherine and Diana, both were really smart but if this were a tv series and a love triangle, I would be team Catherine. And also I feel sorry, happy, and pity for the unrequited love of Henry III and Luisa de Lorena. My favorite place was the gardens of Diana de Poitiers and Catherine de Médicis, the second one to be exact, was the one I prefered.
After visiting this one, we went to a bigger castle named castle of Chambord. In here the different kings of France stayed just to rest. I learned a little bit

I learned a little bit
about Louis XIV, and I discovered that he was very mean and cunning. In our visit to Versailles I hope I can know more about him. Oh and I almost forgot, I saw for the first time snow, it wasn't much but I swear I almost cried. It was beautiful.
I don't have a lot of food to share because I didn't eat anything, I just took breakfast and dinner, but I do want to say that my dinner was a risotto from the hotel's restaurant and it was really nice after not eating since the morning.
What I learned today:
- Always see the weather so you can be prepared.
- Have a snack in your backpack, it can really help.
- London is not the only city that is always cloudy.
That is it for today, tomorrow I hope is not that cold.
