AM Game Drive - Following the Lions
Set out this morning and immediately came across our family of lions. Within a few minutes of watching them, we could see another pride of lions approaching. We counted a total of 26 lions. The lioness with the small cubs warned off the approaching pride and they kept moving past us. Anicet believed they were out for the hunt. After setting off to follow them they encircled a wildebeest but they were unsuccessful. At that point we received a radio message that a zebra had just been killed. AM Game Drive - Following the Lions
Set out this morning and immediately came across our family of lions. Within a few minutes of watching them, we could see another pride of lions approaching. We counted a total of 26 lions. The lioness with the small cubs warned off the approaching pride and they kept moving past us. Anicet believed they were out for the hunt. After setting off to follow them they encircled a wildebeest but they were unsuccessful. At that point we received a radio message that a zebra had just been killed. We went to the site but there were no lions - just a dead zebra which was untouched except for the puncture wound to

the neck. We waited and were not disappointed. In total 18 lions came to feed - the Moms let the babies eat first - gruesome site but we could not leave. What a morning!!!

Evening of Giraffe's and Elephant's
We were joined by a young couple from New York City for this evening's game drive and travelled far away from camp in the hopes to see a Leopard...with no success. The evening finished on a high note when we came upon large herds of both Giraffe and Elephant.
