We finally arrived to the capital city of Iceland : Reykjavik. We have been nicely surprised by the colored houses and the weird church. Reykjavik is an enjoyable city, the people are very nice and always able to help foreigners. We spent the entire first day just walking by the streets and discovering the city. We bought a few gifts and souvenirs for us and our family (yes, I know, it's typically touristic). Then, the next day, we visited the National Museum of Iceland, which was very interesting : in the rooms, they recount the history of Iceland, since Vikings until now. We also spent the day in the museum, there were so many things to see !
The last day in Reykjavik, we took a boat to go to see whales offshore. It was really amazing, if one day you have the occasion to spend a few days in Iceland, you must do it ! The whales were really close to us, and as whales are one of my favorite animals, I was happy to be able to see them so close !
