ICELAND

On this 6th of July, our fourth day, we decided to visit the city of Djúpivogur. We didn't get up early, so we arrived at Djúpivogur at the end of the morning. We first strolled in the city and we ate a 'kjötsupa', a typical food from Iceland : it's a lamb soup, and it was very good !
The afternoon, we visited the museum and cultural center Langabúd, which is one of the oldest commercial building in Iceland. There is in a room dedicated to Rikarður Jónsson, an Icelandic sculptor, and another dedicated to the crafts of the region.
The end of the day, we went to the Búlandstindur Mountain, close to Djúpivogur. It is 1 069 m high and it is supposed to be an important spiritual place.
