The first day of our trip, we went to Lagarfljót lake (also called Lögurinn lake), in the east of Iceland. It is 25kms long, and always very cold ! There is an old legend here : people say there is a monster living in the depths of the lake... Unfortunately, we didn't see any monster, but we took beautiful pics !
There was mist when we arrived in the morning, but then, the sun rose and we were able to see the opposite bank of the lake. We spent the afternoon in Egilsstaðir, the town where we slept in.
