This trip to Iceland wasn't really a gap year, but we had to immerse ourselves, speak another language (not Icelandic, but English), and we discovered a lot of new things that are not part of our culture so we maybe can consider it as a really little gap year (or at least a gap week).
I would like to do a gap year, but when I'll be older. I'd like to go to a northern (or european) country (what a surprise !), and where I can speak english, for instance Ireland, Scotland, Canada, or maybe Sweden, Norway (I heard they speak a very good english there so why not !), and where I can continue my studies.
