I will never forget this trip to Iceland. It was a great experience, I'll do it again for sure ! I love travelling in northern nations, I think the landscapes here are particularly beautiful. I've been there during summer, so it was not that cold, but I would really like to return in Iceland in winter.

The way we travelled by was also different : we went from room to room, house to house... We prepared our trip before; we called the people to know if they were ok to put us up one night, but we also reserved room, little studios,... We had to manage all by ourselves, we had to get out of our comfort zone and immerging us into the icelandic lifestyle. It was something I 'll do again in another country, also for sure ! I wouldn't say we did couchsurfing, but it was close to. We were like explorers in the wild ! (ok, maybe a bit exaggerated)

To finish, I recommend you intensely to go to Iceland. However, life is a bit expensive there, but if you can bring your car by ferry and buying the things you can in France before going to Iceland, it should be better !
