Dear all,
Tuesday was a really quiet day. We just had our hot chocolate at the shop and did a little bit of shopping and that was it. I was still really tired from all the walking done in Brisbane, so I was glad we had a day without anything planned. We did go in the pool though and let me tell you, it was FREEZING.
Wednesday we went to Movie World and this time the weather was fantastic fortunately. When we went in, we went straight to Scooby Doo. It was a ride in the dark and we didn't really know what was coming, so it was kinda scary. After the first one, we went in again and this time it was less scary and we could enjoy it more. We also went to the Hollywood Stunt Driver show, where all sorts of cars would perform all kind of stunts. It was pretty impressive. When we wanted to go on the 3 biggest rides in the park we discovered they were all closed due to maintenance... We were really disappointed, because we had looked forward to it a lot, but fortunately some other rides were still working. We went into the Bat Wing 4 times and into the Scooby Doo coaster 6 times....
We wanted to take my family out to dinner, to thank them for having us and driving us everywhere, and so we went to this Malaysian restaurant, Malay. The food was delicious and we had a lot of fun!
Today, Thursday was, again, a quiet day. We did some work at the shop and then took the bus to Burleigh Beach. We actually swam in the sea this time, I went all in! We laid on the beach for a while and I made sure I wouldn't be sunburnt again by drowning myself in sunscreen. Then we took the bus back to Robina Town Centre and Laura took us home. It's only Tracy, Laura, Emma and me today, since Ari and Eric are gone for 4 days because Ari is playing regionals for volleyball and Renee is only home at 10 pm due to her musical performances.
Tomorrow we'll do some work in the morning and then in the afternoon we'll leave for Wet'n'Wild. And in the evening we've got Renee's musical, so we won't have any time to pack our bags tomorrow. That means I've packed almost all of my stuff already, the end is getting nearer :(
