Australia

I'm in bed now, and I'm exhausted, but I've had the best day. Every day here is the best day, actually.

Wednesday we went to Springbrook National Park. We went to a look-out from where we could see a waterfall that seemed to go on forever and we went to a look-out called "Best-of-all-Look-Outs." It really was the best look-out of all, we could see all over the Gold Coast because of the clear skies and the view was stunning! We had a picnic, right in the middle of the rain forest, it was incredible. I don't really want to add any more words, I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. They don't even capture 1% of the nature's beauty, but I

Springbrook National Park, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

I'm in bed now, and I'm exhausted, but I've had the best day. Every day here is the best day, actually.

Wednesday we went to Springbrook National Park. We went to a look-out from where we could see a waterfall that seemed to go on forever and we went to a look-out called "Best-of-all-Look-Outs." It really was the best look-out of all, we could see all over the Gold Coast because of the clear skies and the view was stunning! We had a picnic, right in the middle of the rain forest, it was incredible. I don't really want to add any more words, I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. They don't even capture 1% of the nature's beauty, but I

hope you get the idea. What I do need to say however, is that we had the biggest party going on in the car to and from the rain forest. Laura was driving, Renee was in the front and Emma and I were in the back, and we had the windows pulled down, the music cranked up and believe me, life was good.

Thursday was a quiet day, we had some coffee at the shop (hot chocolate for us) went home and just enjoyed the sun, watched a movie and that's all it was actually.

Today, Friday, was a good day. A really good day. We went to Currumbin Wildlide Sanctuary and we literally did everything that's "Australian." I hugged a koala, held a baby crocodile and a snake, fed and petted kangaroos and fed the lorikeets. We started the day feeding the lorikeets. There's a plate that we had to use to feed them off, but they go sit on your arms and head as well. And they scratched up my arm, they don't care about anything other than their food! :( Then I held a baby crocodile (it's the weirdest feeling) and cuddled a koala. Around noon we went to the kangaroos and we could just go sit with them, no fence in between! We could feed them, pet them, it was incredible! We had a stamp, so we could leave Currumbin Wildelife Sanctuary anytime and just come back later, so we hit the beach for a while. Renee chased after some hot surfer dudes, so we could take a picture with them! It was kinda embarrassing, but I'm glad she chased them though! ;)

More and more items are getting ticked off my bucket list, it's so exciting!
