For the first time ever, there had been a translation done of the Hebrew Bible into the Greek language. A landmark in the world done so by 72 scholars in the world supposedly set in motion by none other than Ptolemy II. It has made the bible much more accessible to everyone in the empire. The more I go around the more I see people praising the newly translated religion being the work of the scholars who translated the Hebrew Bible for the supposed Ptolemy. It is influencing the development of Christianity with more and more people getting fond of it and even with people beginning to spread it across the empire and to anyone who can read Greek. The newly made bible has incredible influence throughout whoever it has gotten to and whoever is willing to learn about Christianity, even including the Jews who never seemed to have wanted to follow the standards of the Empire but are now themselves involved with the expansion. The religion of Christianity is being now more known than ever before. With how people would respond to other religions it was unlikely that this would be so quickly accepted in this empire but it seems to have gotten good responses and even makes myself want to read up on the Septuagint. Seeing people praising, speaking of new ideals they've never spoke of before, and spreading it like

wildfire is fascinating to witness as someone who has never been a part of religion. It makes one feel as though if they are not following the religion of Christianity they are not in the right. In the end it feels as though a new leaf is turning in the Ptolemaic Empire, and as time goes on the empire is thriving on this blossoming accepted religion of Christianity.
