Chapter 4 San Antonio

After Carlos and Jessica's long and fun trip in tombstone. We head out from Tombstone Arizona and we are almost here in San Antonio. The trip was 845 miles and about a 12 hour drive. We made lots of stops for gas. The total amount we spent on gas was $127 dollars. When we got to San Antonio we stayed at Holiday Inn San Antonio-Downtown. The stay was $55 dollars. After we unpacked everything we head to see the Alamo. While we were their the tour guide gave us lots of good information such as how in December 1835 a group of volunteers led by George Collinsworth and Benjamin Milam overthrow Mexican garrison at the Alamo and captured the

fort, taking control of San Antonio. Not only did we go to visit this historical place we also went on the river walk. It looked so amazing in the night, it was a boat load of funny. So far we have spent $399.5 dollars on gas, hotels, and two entree fees to get into Meteor Crater.
