Chapter 17

We left Chicago and are almost in south Dakota. The distance was 947.2 miles, and the drive was about 13 hours and 40 minutes long. I drove halfway Jessica drove the other half. The amount of money we had to spend on gas was around $120. When we got their we left our stuff at Rocket Motel the stay was $62. After we got some sleep from our long drive we head out to the loco caballo memorial.We searched up that when the mountain carving is finished, it is expected to be 641 feet long and 563 feet high. The hike up to the carving was quick and fun, and seeing the carving was so crazy it was huge and it looked really good. When we finished we went to eat

some Bierocks you could find these in a few states so we had to try some here. When we were stuffed we went back to the hotel to see what we could plan tomorrow morning.
