We have decided to stay and travel more of North Carolina so we are headed to Kitty Hawk from the lost colony its about 21.5 miles and a 35 minute drive. We already had our gas tank filled so it didn't cost much to fill it again. We spent about $10 to fill it up again to go to Kitty Hawk. Jessica and I have decided to just stay the night in the Bat mobile so that we could save some money. While we were there we looked up museums that we could go to so that we could learn some more about the town. We found this very interesting museum named Wright Brothers National Memorial. We went straight over there to see what we could learn. Once we got there we had to pay a fee of $7 it was worth it. In the museum it had a glider looking plane the information that the museum gave out said that the glider was the first project it was than that they were going to invent the airplane. They than made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered airplane. We also went to a monument it showed the to birth and death days. . Orville (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948) and Wilbur (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912). After our long walk back to the car we stay at a parking lot planning our next trip.
