Day 6 – A day out

Today I slept till 7.30am, which made mummy very happy. I played in Poppa's garden for a while, then granny and Uncle Paul took me over to the park, where I had a great time at the playground and on the flying fox. Granny forgot that she was supposed to hold me on the flying fox and she let go, but luckily I held on tight and didn't fall off!
Nana Maureen cooked a delicious lunch of roast chicken, sausages, roast potatoes, broccoli, beans, carrots and corn. I was very well behaved and ate all my lunch, then I had strawberries and yogurt for dessert.
In the afternoon, mummy and granny took me on a train to Bethnal Green, to visit the Museum of Childhood. We met granny's friend

Anne there. I loved the museum because there was so much for me to do. I played with some dolls houses and some Duplo, had a ride on a rocking horse, dressed up as a policeman and drove a police car, and even went in a big sand pit. At the cafe, granny bought be an ice-cream, then I got a stuffed Clanger and a Charlie and Lola book from the shop.
On the way home we stopped at Stratford and took back some tights and a swimsuit that were too small for me, we got bigger ones instead. It was a long day, but I had a great time!
