Day 1 – The journey

Setting off from Coffs
Me, mummy and daddy met up with granny at the airport in Coffs. Monkey got left at home and daddy had to dash back and get him, I was so pleased when he arrived! I had lots of stuff packed in my Trunki, it's yellow with black stripes and I can sit on it.
I felt sad when we had to say goodbye to daddy, but I was very excited about going to England to see Nana Maureen and Poppa. We waved goodbye to daddy and got on the little plane. Granny had brought me a mystery bag -- my backpack filled with special things. The first thing I pulled out of the bag was a sticker book, and we played with that on the trip to Sydney.

In Sydney, we had some lunch, and looked at the toy shop. Mummy and granny bought me a special red cushion to put round my neck (mummy and granny got cushions too, they were lovely and soft), and a Lego garbage truck. Mummy helped me make the garbage truck, then granny let me get another book out of the mystery bag, it had fairy stories. I especially love Beauty and the Beast, and the

It was exciting when we finally got on the big plane and set off on our trip to England! The people on the aeroplane were very friendly and they gave me a lovely chicken sandwich and some apple crumble (but I didn't like that). I watched some movies and then fell fast asleep, I was very tired!
