The Sassy llamas
8am alarm clock, quick breakfast and with our packed lunch we headed north towards Holy Jim (named after a foul mouthed bee keeper) driving some of the roughest roads - requiring the expert navigation skills of Conor & Rebecca and our help disembarking the Honda!
We started the hike, which Conor assured us was a 3 hour 'great craic' round trip! After we hit the 5 mile signpost we started to question Conor's accuracy!
But we persevered and finally got to the view rock, after some rather dangerous photo shots and a quick cereal bar, we started the decent meeting lots of different creatures - ladybugs, lizards & insects!
After some complaining and moaning we made it to the bottom after about 4.5 hours but not after a stop at an 'impressive' waterfall! We had our well deserved houmous and ham sandwiches back at the car #yum
Then back into the car and back to Conor's apartment for some dinner, and headed for a look or wander around Brae, a pretty little town about 5 minutes from Fullerton. We came back and had some treats while watching Pitch Perfect.

Day Eleven - Holy Jim Hike & Brae
California
