After our Denny's breakfast, we packed up and walked over the free way in the rain to get to Howard Johnson Inn across from the MGM!
After the physical excursion of a half hour walk with our bag packs we needed a lie down watching the news telling us about the 5.4 magnitude earthquake in the area we travelled yesterday. We then went for a stroll of the strip, stopping in the M&M factory and Hershey's store (shamelessly getting lots of free Carmel chocolate) :)
We got dinner and a cocktail, and headed back to room to doll ourselves up for our night in Vegas! We had some rums with Conor and Mariella and headed to the strip! We strolled up to the Balligio and watched the fountains, then onto Margaritaville and then tried our luck in the casino!
On Saturday, we went to Wet Repiblic's Calvin Harris Pool party in the MGM, after a long wait for breakfast on Coco's! We got some $45 Beach Body cocktails, and chilled out at the pool! Calvin came on stage at about 2pm...quote Kate 'one word CLASS'. No sign of Taylor Swift though! We left the pool party, got some food and froyo and went back to our room to change! Then headed back into the MGM's nightclub Hakkiasan. The next morning, we strolled downtown Vegas, and made the 5 hour car trip to L.A.
