London

Day 1
Our day started very early, at 4 a.m., at the airport. We were all tired and sleepy. During boarding, some classmates forgot their travel authorisation, so one student and two teachers missed the flight. Still, our flight went smoothly.
When we arrived, we took a coach to the hotel, which

took about an hour and a half. We couldn’t go to our rooms yet, so we left our luggage in a room and went to have lunch at McDonald’s, just across from the hotel. Afterwards, we returned and waited for the teachers and the student, resting and playing Mr. White in the hotel lobby.
When they finally arrived, we all went together to visit central London. We took the underground from

North Acton station and visited famous places like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the London Eye. We also had time to buy some souvenirs near Big Ben. Later, we had dinner at a restaurant and tried fish and chips.
At the end of the day, we returned to the hotel, got our rooms, and finally had a good rest.

Day 2
On the second day, we woke up early and had breakfast. We went to King’s Cross St. Pancras station, famous for Harry Potter, where we visited the themed shop and bought souvenirs.
Then, we headed to Camden Town, had spicy burgers at a market, and explored vintage shops.

In the afternoon, we visited Madame Tussauds and were amazed by the wax figures. Afterwards, we walked around the Theatre District and saw luxury shops and theatres.
We had pizza for dinner at an Italian restaurant and, in the evening, we watched the musical Mamma Mia!, which we loved.
When we returned to the hotel, we sang “Happy Birthday” to our friend Camilla at midnight and

then went to rest.

Day 3
On the third day of the trip, we went to the Natural History Museum, where we explored in groups. The museum was huge, and we only saw part of it, but the dinosaur skeletons were amazing.
We had lunch at Five Guys, but it was very expensive.

Afterwards, we visited the Science Museum. One of our classmates went missing for a few minutes, but everything turned out fine. Our favourite part was the medicine room.
In the evening, we went to Piccadilly, had dinner (breaded chicken with chips), and visited shops like the Hard Rock Café, the M&M’s store, and the Lego shop, where we bought souvenirs.
We returned to the hotel and started packing our

things, already missing the trip.

Day 4
On our last day in London, we packed our bags and met in the hotel lobby to hear the day’s plan. We travelled to Canary Wharf and visited the Financial District, where we saw a new statue of a whale made from ocean plastic, which touched many of us.

Then we went to the Tower of London, but since it wasn’t free and we were short on time, we only walked around it and enjoyed the beautiful view of the London Bridge and the River Thames. Some of us bought souvenirs in a small gift shop.
Next, we headed to St Paul’s Cathedral (where Prince Charles married Princess Diana), but we couldn’t go inside. We crossed the famous Millennium Bridge, which appears in Harry Potter, and arrived at the Tate Museum.
There was some disagreement about lunch – some wanted McDonald’s, others preferred burgers from a street stall – so we split into groups. After lunch and a quick visit to the museum, we returned to the hotel, checked out, and took the coach to the airport.
